Bluefields Enclosure
URACCAN began operating from 1995 as a higher education institution.That same year he began his mission in the Bluefields Campus with a tuition of 329 students enrolled in the careers of: Agroforestry Engineering, Fisheries Engineering, Bachelor of Sociology with mention in Autonomy, Bachelor of Companies with mention in Natural Resources and Sustainable Development.
In the following years the academic offer to Education Sciences was expanded with mention in biology, English, social sciences, language and literature, intercultural communication, psychology in multicultural contexts, Administrative Informatics, Administration with mention in marketing, Banking and Finance, among others.
Currently the campus offers 7 programs of superior technician, 7 degree and a master's degree in university teaching.Today, the Campus has 891 students; 21 at the graduate level, 870 at the undergraduate level and 158 students participating in supplementary English courses.
Geographical location of the Campus
The Campus is located on the South Caribbean Coast in the city of Bluefields, head of the Municipality that bears the same name. It is located in the cool Loma neighborhood in the Loma Santa Matilde.
