Doctor Honoris Causa
The title of Doctor Honoris Causa is the highest distinction that URACCAN gives as timely and meritorious recognition to personalities who contribute to the accompaniment of indigenous peoples, Afro descendants and mestizos of the Caribbean Coast of Nicaragua.

In solemn celebration, the University Council of URACCAN, led by Dr. Alta Hooker, rector of this institution, dressed Dr. Robert Zeiner as Doctor Honoris Causa of this house of intercultural higher education studies, on July 31, 2015, with the participation of representatives of civil society, politicians, civilians, military people with the university community.
