Communication Laboratories

Radio URACCAN Rosita

Radio URACCAN Rosita was founded on September 27, 1997 under the direction of Professor Fernando Espinoza Loza (q.e.p.d). the foundation of the station in Rosita arose from the need to have a means of communication that would serve to inform the local, regional and national happen, since the municipality only carry the waves of the stations at night.

Professor Espinoza managed to break that barrier of silence by founding this means of communication in a people that needs to be informed and above all where the voices of the different indigenous and mixed-race peoples needed to be heard.

Radio URACCAN Siuna

Community radio, educational, cultural, recreational, informative and training of community thought, being par excellence the means of communication with the greatest access to the population.

The broadcaster arises from the need to disseminate the activities and establish or engage in dialogue with the communities of the municipality of Siuna. one of the initial objectives for the installation of radio was the creation and formation of a Community Radio, where different local organizations could actively participate.
