URACCAN Las Minas holds the fourth regular session of the CUR

This morning at URACCAN Las Minas, the fourth regular session of the University Council of Campus (CUR), the highest decision-making instance in the territory, was held, highlighting the presentation and approval of the institutional report of the first quarter 2020.

The session began with the analysis of the mission and vision of this house of higher education, to continue to meet the institutional objectives and strengthen the commitments that are made from the different areas of the campus.

In this session, each of the areas presented progress in the actions and management they have developed during the month.

La PhD. Leonor Ruiz Calderón, vice-chancellor of the Las Minas campus, unveiled the different activities scheduled for the coming months and invited participants to fulfill each of them, with dedication and commitment.

Other agenda items

Similarly, the tools for making context analyses and scenarios were presented to design strategies for institutional sustainability.

Within the agenda items, the context in which we encounter the pandemic known as COVID-19 and the measures that the university has taken for the safety of staff and students was addressed. As a result, the consequences that this disease would bring to the country's economy and, in particular, to the municipality were analyzed.
