Organization of the Regional Regional Education System (SEAR)

URACCAN authorities, led by Dr. Alta Hooker Blandford, rector of this alma mater, conducted a working session with the Regional Government Education Commission to provide accompaniment in the organization of the Regional Regional Regional Education System (SEAR) with Caribbean universities. This meeting was held at URACCAN Bilwi Precinct.

According to the rector of URACCAN, this session had fruitful results, because since the committee there was a proposal, "we agreed with some fundamental aspects and made an agenda with established dates to work on a document by chapters, so in each meeting we will have a new product," Hooker explained.

At the end of the articulation will be the document establishing the organizational procedures of SEAR, "with the different instances in the region", said the rector.

It should be noted that the next session was scheduled for Friday, February 19 of this year. URACCAN, through its work of community intercultural accompaniment, will continue to articulate efforts with the corresponding bodies on the issue of education in the Autonomous Regions, "I really liked the willingness to work together", concluded the rector.
