Advances and challenges in the first half of the 2020 school year

Vice-Chancellor of the Bilwi campus held an informational assembly with the teaching guild to assess the work of the first semester and the level of compliance with the Annual Operational Plan (POA). Security measures were also addressed in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, which are being implemented in URACCAN for the opening of the second half of the 2020 school year.

The agenda items addressed in this assembly were: welcome words by Enrique Cordón, PhD, vice-chancellor of the venue; presentation of the progress, difficulties and challenges of the teaching guild in this first semester, by the Licdo. Nilson Dumas, teaching representative; report of the first half of the POA 2020, by the MSc. Abner Figueroa; and finally the MA. Yuri Zapata completed the activity.

Dr. Cordón stated that such assemblies are held to inform teaching staff of how progress has been made with the plan of activities scheduled throughout the year. "We are at a level of 80 to 82% of the performance of the activities of the first semester," the academic said.

In turn, the vice-chancellor explained to the participants that prevention measures that are immersed in the institutional security protocol implemented in the 4 enclosures and four extensions of URACCAN are continued. "We made the relevant recommendations on how we should continue to act in this situation," Cordón said.
