Authorities of URACCAN campus Las Minas gave known, to the internal students of the student residence, about the new benefits they will have, contemplated in the new scholarship regulations, approved by the University Council of URACCAN (CUU).

In this sense, the PhD. Leonor Ruiz, vice-chancellor of URACCAN Las Minas, explained that from the University Council a reform was made to the scholarship regulations, adding greater benefits for students.

"Last year students paid tariffs and this year, after the scholarship regulations were passed at the CUU, this year they will no longer pay the tariffs and that is one more charity that this university gives its students," Ruiz said.

For their part, scholarship students reacted happily and with great gratitude to the university, for allowing them to continue their vocational training processes through economic and academic assistance. They also appreciate the opportunity to study careers relevant to the development of the Caribbean Coast.

It should be noted that within the internal scholarships in this enclosure, there are young people from distant communities, who decided to opt for the races offered on campus and their extensions, such as Patricio Hodgson, originally from Raití; Ivania Raquel Jarquín, originally from El Naranjal, jurisdiction of Puerto Cabezas and Oscar Mondoy, from La Cruz de Río Grande, like many other young people who wish to be part of URACCAN, to professionalize and contribute to the development with identity of their communities, the Caribbean Coast and the country.
