URACCAN promotes a culture of entrepreneurship in the Caribbean region.
Invited entrepreneurs requested workshops on Digital Marketing.
URACCAN Las Minas held the first meeting with entrepreneurs and innovators of Siuna, with the aim of forming a network of entrepreneurs of the municipality for collaboration and complementarity with the strategy to promote the culture of entrepreneurship and innovation at the Kiulna Innovation Center.
The entrepreneurs are: Xiomara Reyes, owner manager of Finca Ecológica Raymar; Daniel Jarquín, owner manager of Mariscos Danni, (graduate of URACCAN); Neyling Moody, owner manager of Arikato National Footwear, (graduate of URACCAN); Jairo González, owner manager of Vidriería González y Familia; and Túpac Avilés, owner manager of Finca El Cortés.
The coordinator of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation area, Ing. Joel Montenegro, shared with the entrepreneurs of Siuna the strategy to promote the culture of innovation entrepreneurship of the Las Minas venue.
Montenegro noted that there are possibilities to form the network of entrepreneurs of Siuna and participation in entrepreneurship events organized by URACCAN with possibilities of participation of entrepreneurs in the first Virtual National Entrepreneurship Congress.
Entrepreneurs demanded the conduct of some practical workshops in Digital Marketing and accompaniment in the registration of trademark and intellectual property. With this action, URACCAN Las Minas is contributing in the construction of good living and the common good with the development of initiatives to learn, undertake and thrive under the model of Intercultural Community University.
URACCAN continues to strengthen innovation and entrepreneurship processes in both the university community and successful local entrepreneurs and innovators.
