CUR Las Minas holds its Sixth Ordinary Session

Session started with a moment of silence and reflection

The University Council of Campus (CUR) of URACCAN Las Minas, held its Sixth Ordinary Session, incorporating the virtual modality for the coordination of its extensions in Bonanza, Rosita and Waslala and implementing the means of protection established in the institutional protocol of prevention of COVID-19.

The session began with a minute's silence over the passing of Teacher Ariel Chavarría Vigil, academic secretary of this campus and secretary of this decision-making instance in the territory, but also for the death of Dr. Cyril Omeir Green, general secretary of URACCAN and the loss of relatives of collaborators of the institution.

As part of the institutional context, an assessment was made of the progress and challenges of the development of virtual classes implemented as a strategy to ensure educational continuity in the first half of 2020.

Among the agenda items, it also highlights in this session the presentation of general information and progress in the actions and management developed in the last month in each of the centers and institutes and Vice-Chancellor, and the approval for the position of Academic Secretariat.
