Authorities participate in second regular session of the year

The authorities of the University Council of URACCAN (CUU) participate this 02 and 03 July in the second regular session of the year, through the virtual modality, as part of compliance with the institutional security protocol for the prevention of COVID-19.

The session is chaired by the rector, Dr. Alta Hooker Blandford, and the members of the CUU in full participated successfully from each of the territories.

At the beginning of the session, Rector Hooker asked for a minute's silence in memory of the co-workers who have returned to the land of their ancestors, including Dr. Cyril Omeir, Secretary General, and Teacher Ariel Chavarría Vigil, academic secretary of the Las Minas compound, and Dr. Wilfred Cunnigag, teaching schedule of the career of Intercultural Medicine , but also because of the loss of relatives of co-workers.

Work agenda

In this session, they stand out on their agenda on their first day: the Election of the Secretary or Secretary General, Reflection on Institutional Philosophy, Context of Covid-19, General Information provided by the rector, and The state of application of the Labor Day for each of the venues, which is proposed by the vice-chancellors in their consensus from the territories.

On the second day of the session, the academic director is expected to present the update of 3 undergraduate degrees: Psychology, Sociology and Agroforestry Ing.
