With the aim of promoting and rescuing the culture of creating useful crafts for families, as well as opening spaces for socialization and entertainment in the academic and administrative staff of the university campus of URACCAN New Guinea, a weaving and embroidery workshop was held.

The playful activity by nature, is coordinated from the area of Student Welfare, space that articulated efforts with management, to have the materials and spaces necessary to carry out the activity that is classified as "Moments to relax, but also to take advantage of what we can do in free spaces at home", said teacher Yamilex Aguilar , responsible for Student Welfare of the venue.

For his part, Inés López Pavón, a companion who serves as a janitor, says that "This is nice because one can do it at home to rest after a day's work, but if they look nice she can also sell them," he said.

The activity will be monitored on the following Saturdays, until assessing the importance of this methodology of relaxation and coexistence, so that it can be used and applied in other spaces and with other groups.
