The University of the Autonomous Regions of the Nicaraguan Caribbean Coast (URACCAN) aims to continue to provide a higher education of quality and relevance for the Caribbean territory of Nicaragua.

In this context, it continues in the preparations for the evaluation process to be carried out soon by the National Evaluation and Accreditation Council (CNEA), in view of this, the commission responsible for these matters in the Bilwi campus, met to reactivate the verification processes.

The vice-chancellor of this campus Enrique Cordón, PhD, reported that this commission consists of the academic area, representatives of the guilds, administrative, teachers and students, as well as the coordinators of the areas of evaluation, planning and creation and recreation of knowledge, knowledge and practices.

Cordón also stated that, as a precinct, we must be prepared for these evaluation and accreditation processes, "we have to be ready to present all the necessary evidence which means that we are a quality university," said the vice-chancellor.

Finally, Cordón detailed that these meetings are held to "agree internally to be able to present the conditions and resources that we have to provide a quality education, probably in April, May and June we will have the visit of the CNEA and they come to verify the indicators that we present with which the improvement plan that we have developed in the enclosure" Concluded.
