Technological innovations to optimize work

In order to update its administrative staff, URACCAN organized a virtual meeting on the University Management System (SGU) and the incorporation of its new payroll software, aimed at all officials working in the areas of Human Resources and Accounting, both in the premises and the Liaison Office.

Through this online session, the new system of forms was presented, in order to optimize teaching work, streamline administrative processes and update data regarding the performance of the officials of this educational entity, explained the Licda. Jackeline Garcia, accountant at the Bluefields compound.

Master Ithiell Mejía, programmer of URACCAN and creator of the SGU, said that it is extremely important "to have a system born of the need and reality of URACCAN, from the particularities of its extensions and enclosures, because this way we are doing something of our own that solves our needs".

At this time, according to Professor Mejía, we are in a process of piloting this new tool within the SGU, which, if successful for users, "would greatly facilitate the work, mainly of URACCAN's human talent managers and the streamlining of payroll".
