This morning the registration of applications for vice-chancellor or vice-chancellor was opened at URACCAN Bluefields venue. The process is taking place under the coordination of the delegate of the electoral committee at the venue, Master Silvan Fagan, accompanied by a representative per guild and a representative of the URACCAN Association.

In this sense Fagan explained that "in order to apply as candidates they must be active people at the university, have the recommendation of two notable people from the region and, likewise, submit documents personal data". Explained

Registrations will be open for a period of three days and then the official presentation of candidates will be made to begin the official campaign process.

First official candidate

During the day of the first day, the first candidate for deputy vice-chancellor of the venue, teacher Heidi Guillén, current academic secretary of the venue, was introduced to register.

The table made up of the campus electoral committee proceeded to review the documents and sign the nomination of the candidacy, to continue reading the minutes by the delegate.

According to Guillén, this candidacy reaffirms its commitment to the institution, to further strengthen the processes of Intercultural Higher Education and to continue to create new strategies to ensure intercultural education for all from participatory spaces that include students.

"Our fundamental goal is teamwork, respect for people and creating better conditions for the entire university community; for us the fundamental pillar is students, including them in each of the spaces is one of our actions to work," Guillén concluded.
