Regular session of the University Council of Campus

Authorities of URACCAN Bluefields venues conducted the first regular session of the University Council of Campus (CUR), in order to address topics related to the beginning of the 2021 school year.

In this session were presented the members of the new student leadership, who are now part of this decision-making body in the territory.

Contributions in the session

In addition, during the session, substantial aspects were shared to continue walking this university during the first academic semester. In this regard, teacher Diala López, vice-chancellor of URACCAN bluefields, released data on the report of the impact and acting of the university regarding the passage of hurricanes IOTA and ETA, which affected the North Caribbean as it passed through the national territory.

In addition, the analysis of the institutional and national context was addressed. In this space, by the Institute of Intercultural Communication (ICI-URACCAN), since the dissemination, the documentary made on the impact of these natural phenomena was presented.

Finally, on the part of the administration of the venue, the financial report was shared, by the Lic.  Joseph Downs; Mr. Lyssette Newball, head of Student Welfare, also presented a report on the student recruitment process for this 2021 school year.
