University Annual Operational Plan for Life Plan 2021-2031

The First Intercultural Community University in Latin America, with the aim of fulfilling its organizational form, based on its institutional philosophy and its organizational culture, has been conducting since 2016 the annual meeting of institutional articulation, where the authorities and states of the university meet to organize a work planning in an articulated way.

The initiative is coordinated and convened by rectory, led by Dr. Alta Hooker, rector of URACCAN and the direction of analysis and institutional planning, for collective construction, where each vice-rectory, directorates of institutes and centers and addresses of areas, meet to articulate the processes linked to each stage of this house of major knowledge, which as a final result is the Annual Operational Plan 2020.

What is new in 2020 planning is the inclusion of the obligations of higher education institutions, as referred to in Law 704, the creative law of the National System for The Assurance of the Quality of Education and Regulator of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, CNEA.

Initiation ceremony

Starting from the own worldview, identity and beliefs of the peoples, focused on the feeling of belonging and resilience with a view to the good walk of the university, the meeting began with a spiritual reflection, shared by Master Serafina Espinoza, director of the Institute of Traditional Medicine and Community Development (IMTRADEC), who put before the omnipotent and greater spirits the encounter, to link the fabric of the various processes aimed at the current year.

Reception in the territory

Dr. Leonor Ruíz, vice-chancellor of URACCAN recinto Las Minas, welcomed and welcomed the territorial delegations attending the meeting, erring that, "this space serves us to reflect on the successes and successes that allow us to lead to better strategies in the planning and articulation of the year 2020".

Joint actions with the various

It should be noted that this meeting will last four days, with the added value of the start of construction from the collective of the Institutional Life Plan, which by unanimous decision of the University Council of URACCAN (CUU), the highest decision-making body, will be for a decade, as stated by Dr. Alta Hooker, rector of URACCAN, during her speech where she explained the reasons and purposes of the meeting.

Hooker, urged to continue in the spirit of doing things right, in the sense of improving and strengthening good attitudes that guarantee good to do and obtain the best results in planning, always with the willingness to work in order to move forward with greater certainty in consolidating the quality of the institution, "We have to leave certain attitudes that do not pay to institutional guidelines and seek unity in all our thoughts and in all things we're doing to keep pushing this boat forward."

"The university has four venues, four extensions, but it also has seven research institutes, four community radios, a community television channel and a Community Innovation Center, so all these instances need to be articulated and planned together and together, to do the job better without complications," she said.

For his part, the Msc. Adrián Puerta Chavarría, director of analysis and institutional planning, said that, "this is the last meeting corresponding to the strategic plan 2015-2019, where the Annual Operational Plan 2020 is validated, where all the activities of the university are executed to energize the university work", he detailed.
