Our conception of Creating and Recreating Knowledge, Knowledge and Practices
For URACCAN, according to our "Institutional Policy and Agenda Creating, Recreating Knowledge, Knowledge and Practices with a Gender Intercultural Perspective" adopted in 2017, the creation, recreation of knowledge, knowledge and practices of peoples is a participatory process with a gender intercultural perspective, which generates new knowledge, skills and innovations, revalues the historical practices and local knowledge of indigenous peoples , Afro-descendants, half-breeds and ethnic communities, in the search for the Good Living and the construction of intercultural citizenships.
Mission
Contribute to the Good Life of indigenous peoples, Afro-descendants, half-breeds and ethnic communities through the creation and recreation of knowledge, knowledge and practices with a gender intercultural perspective, through the active participation of the university community, associate researchers and local actors, as a strategy for the development of innovation and entrepreneurship capabilities.
Vision
To be a reference for processes of creation and recreation of knowledge, knowledge and community practices with a gender intercultural perspective that contribute to the revitalization and socialization of knowledge, to the strengthening of the identity of indigenous peoples, Afro-descendants, mestizos and ethnic communities, the promotion of innovative, productive and entrepreneurial initiatives for the good life and the construction of intercultural citizenships.
