Specialization in Management and University Leadership in Multicultural Contexts

The Leadership School at URACCAN is a special academic program of Accelerated Secondary Education that contributes to the development of basic general leadership and training, general technique and early technical employment qualification of young peoples of indigenous peoples, Afro-descendants and half-breeds. This training is oriented towards the integral development of the communities of origin and therefore to the strengthening of the Autonomy of the Nicaraguan Caribbean Coast with the facilitation of a relevant intercultural education, with quality, equal rights and opportunities.

It has as its general objective "To train baccalaureates, leaders and leaders in an integral way with scientific, technical, humanist and community leadership competences with an intercultural gender perspective that facilitate their integration into the early working field contributing to the strengthening of the autonomy of peoples.

Training areas


  • General training

It consists in the development of courses that facilitate the construction of intercultural citizenships of gender, knowledge, attitudes and values in balance and harmony with Mother Earth according to the philosophy of the university.

  • Basic training

It consists in the development of training-oriented subjects on an investigative and instructive nature that guarantees the baccalaureate.

  • Technical training

It consists of the development of courses and programs that provide knowledge, skills, skills and attitudes that ensure early technical job qualification.
