The photovoltaic system (solar panels) that was being installed in the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center "Kiulna", of the Las Minas enclosure, was completed and delivered by SENCOM to the URACCAN authorities on that campus.

La PhD. Leonor Ruiz Calderón, vice-chancellor of the compound, stated that "for the first time in the region we have such systems, which comes to facilitate energy savings for the work that we have to do in the Innovation Center; we also contribute to reducing environmental pollution."
The official added that 16 solar panels with a capacity of 5 kilos were installed, which translates into "a clean technology that allows energy to be obtained without compromising the environment".
The director of Entrepreneurship, Msc. Victor Zúniga, stated that this system is powered by commercial energy and solar energy, allowing "promoting the use of clean energy; we will also be more efficient, because when power fails, the Innovation Center will continue its work normally, because it can accommodate up to 5 hours with the use of electronic equipment, such as desktops, laptops, oasis, center lights and outlet use."
Zúniga emphasized that these systems promote a spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship for academia, students, the community and the municipality, because "they work not only at the level of institutions and organizations, we can also have them in our- Log in to post comments
