Assembly with the university community

As part of the celebration of the XXV Anniversary of the Intercultural Community University, URACCAN, the rector of this House of Intercultural Higher Education, Dr. Alta Hooker, met with students and workers of the URACCAN Bilwi campus, through a participatory and informative assembly, carrying the message of encouragement and celebration for the anniversary of the university and the 32nd Anniversary of Regional Autonomy.
During the assembly, the Phd. Enrique Cordón, vice-chancellor of the URACCAN Bilwi campus, called on students, administrators and teachers, to participate in all the activities that commemorate both anniversaries, since "You do the university, you are the ones who must be in this celebration," Cordón said.
Accompaniment
In addition, the vice-chancellor thanked the accompaniment and presence of the rector Alta Hooker, who has accompanied the entire process of preparing this celebration in the venue. In this sense, Rector Hooker commented with those present, the importance of this celebration and the process of Regional Autonomy.
In addition, the rector made the presentation of the activities to be carried out, inviting the university community to receive and welcome special guests, who come from the different institutions or bodies, local, regional, national and international; highlighting the particularities of the activities.
Celebration and pride
During this process, the rector also called for being proud to be part of URACCAN and the Caribbean Coast, "You smile differently, you talk differently, you look different, and if that's the case, we have to have different indicators," she said.
"This is our feast, this is our XXV Anniversary, then, companions and companions, let us stand by hands and make this feast the best, throw the house out the window, let it be a waste of happiness; that it is something beautiful and I have to thank everyone for their attention, let us commit ourselves to giving our best," rector Hooker concluded.
