A space for inclusion and development with identity

Within the framework of the intrainstitutional articulation, the Center for the Study and Information of Multi-ethnic Women (CEIMM-URACCAN), developed a working session with the Humanities area and the Center for Innovation and Intercultural Community Entrepreneurship of URACCAN campus Las Minas.

In this sense, the working methodology for feeding the virtual platform "Road of Independent Life" was realized, which will work on the research "State of the Art of People with Disabilities, in Siuna"; the development of an awareness-raising campaign for the recognition of their rights was also contemplated.

Similarly, agreements were established to implement student and teaching actions and initiatives of the Career of Social Sciences with mention in Local Development, a career selected as "Innovation Center for Social Transformation from the Intercultural Gender Perspective", an activity developed with the project "Decolonization and Depatriarhoralization for the Transformation of Education" funded by the Norwegian International Student and Academic Assistance Fund (SAIH)

For her part, the career coordinator, teacher Lilia Montoya Leal, explained that from the race there are many actions that will be implemented this year, which will contribute to the local development of the municipality, under the principle of the intercultural perspective of gender from the model of Intercultural Community University.

Finally, Master Joel Montenegro coordinator of the Innovation Center mentioned the area's interest in supporting and strengthening these entrepreneurship and innovation initiatives.

As the results of this working session, intra-institutional strengthening was achieved for the transversalization of the intercultural gender perspective in the development of social transformation initiatives led by the university community. So is it. there is the schedule and distribution of roles and responsibilities in the execution of activities planned for this 2021.
