Interinstitutional collaboration

For the 26th anniversary of the Intercultural Community University, URACCAN, the Las Minas campus coordinated with the Ministry of Health (MINSA) a specialized medical day, with the aim of providing comprehensive health services to the university community.

Laura López Polanco, Hygiene and Occupational Safety Technique of this institution, said that this is the second medical day of the year, "these days are planned every three months, but because of the situation of COVID-19 only two days were made this year".

Lopez said that "institutional medical days are opportunities for us to improve health, they have always been fruitful because the worker is satisfied".

It is important to highlight the coordinated work that the university has been doing with MINSA, since these medical days come to strengthen interinstitutional relations that open opportunities for well-being and access to collaborators, collaborators and students.

The day covered general consultation, drug supplies, tetanus vaccine application, influenza and yellow fever. In addition to performing PAP to women in the mobile clinic.
