URACCAN enclosure Las Minas, started the school year 2020 with the opening of the propedeutic course with more than 400 students in the extensions of Waslala, Rosita, Bonanza and the siuna campus for the regular shift races, according to Ariel Chavarría Vigil, Academic Secretary of the venue.

In addition, The Ph.D. Leonor Ruiz Calderón, vice-chancellor of this university campus, commented that it is a year of many challenges for the entire university community that has begun with the academic year 2020, "Teachers are teaching the four classes of the propedeutic course, which is a process of re-entering the different careers", he detailed.

In addition, Chavarría Vigil added that "We currently have more than 400 students with regular courses, but we need to start the course for weekend races, so we expect the number of students to increase once the Saturday course starts," he added.

Development of the academic process 2020

Students from the different communities near Siuna have arrived at the campus facilities and university extensions to enter to study in the different careers that URACCAN is offering in the Las Minas campus.

On the Siuna campus, two propedeutic courses are being developed, for the careers of the daily course and a course on Saturday, for students who work and who wish to study Social Sciences with mention in Local Development.
