URACCAN at the Bluefields campus held the third session of the University Council of Campus (CUR), at which the presentation of the 2020 annual budget was highlighted.

As standard in the working sessions, the session began with the analysis of the mission and vision of this House of Intercultural Higher Studies, to further strengthen the objectives and work of academic engagement in URACCAN-quality education.

In the development of the meeting of the authorities of the venue, the 2020 annual budget was presented, with each of its components in the same way the main agreements of the university council meeting, held on 27 and 28 February in Siuna, were presented.

Teacher Diala López, vice-chancellor of the venue, unveiled the different activities scheduled for the coming months and exhorted to fulfill satisfactorily, in each of them.

Other agenda items

Teacher Grace Kelly, coordinator of the Institute of Traditional Medicine and Community Development (IMTRADEC), presented the proposal of the Psychology Laboratory, which will be used for the internships of students of the psychology career in multicultural contexts.

As part of the institutional work of the first intercultural community university, URACCAN holds sessions with the authorities of the campus through the University Council of CUR Campus, the highest instance taking up decessions in the territories
