
The activity is led by URACCAN Rector Dr. Alta Hooker.
The activity aims to strengthen intercultural community accompaniment of these institutional areas from their actions.
Under the motto "Dreaming and walking intercultural community accompaniment", the directorates and coordinations of the Institutes and Centers for Research and Communication of the Intercultural Community University, under the direction of Dr. Alta Hooker, meet at the New Guinea venue, from 11 to 13 November 2020.
The words of welcome were in charge of the vice-chancellor of the host compound, the PhD. Eugenio López Mairena, who reaffirmed the commitment of integrality when planning institutional actions. In addition, he stated that "this working session that allows us to reflect and consider the importance that each of the functions of this university are important, but will be more important to the extent that we can articulate them, so that we can achieve our mission, our institutional educational project".
In this regard, the rector of URACCAN, Dr. Alta Hooker, in her opening words of the meeting, assured that "strengthening is achieved with the unity of the work of all". It also contextualized the research and extension activities that are being developed in URACCAN in the light of interculturality; in addition to making a context of "the social events that involve us from the work of social and community advocacy".
During this working day between the teams of the URACCAN Institutes and Research and Communication Centers, it is hoped to make visible and project the cross-cutting axes of the university: gender and interculturality.
