Conversation with students from the Leadership School
The Center for Multi-Ethnic Women's Studies and Information (CEIMM-URACCAN) of the Bilwi campus, held this Friday morning, an educational chair with students from the Leadership School under the theme: Myths and Prejudices of Romantic Love.
In this regard, teacher Meira Nicho, a technical officer at CEIMM, stated that these activities are carried out in compliance with the awareness-raising plan with a gender intercultural perspective and that this issue was addressed because it is of great importance to youth.
"The idea is that this year we can continue to take the chairs on Fridays to continue raising awareness of students on different topics," Nicho said, in addition to detailing that by 2021 25 educational chairs were scheduled.
The teacher also explained that among the most relevant topics to be addressed in these chairs are: sexual and reproductive rights, intercultural gender perspective, and gender-based violence. "We want to do a conversation with the student with the common semester, and do a conversation on the same subject (...) we are also planning to do an activity under March 08, in commemoration of Women's Day," Nicho concluded.
