Sharing expertise between URACCAN and FAREM-Chontales

From the interinstitutional coordinations and relations between URACCAN and the Institute of Tourism (Intur) of Chontales, under the direction of Master Marlon Vargas, and with the aim of building skills from practice, in tourism careers, both the URACCAN of the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua (UNAN-FAREM Chontales), an exchange of experiences was held between students of the fourth year of both universities.

According to graduate Marlon Vargas, "To be at URACCAN is to feel that I am at home, not only because it is the university where I graduated years ago, but when I return here I feel that hospitality and sympathy of teachers and the whole people of New Guinea has been characterized by being very hospitable, that, plus natural beauty, make this place suitable for adventure tourism and that's why they are here" Assured

For his part, Dr. Eugenio López, vice-chancellor of the URACCAN New Guinea precinct, said that these two houses of study "have always been sisters, and that is that since years ago we have had good relations and that is part of seeing ourselves as part of Chontales, sure that politically, historically and geographically we are part of the Autonomous Region of Nicaragua", he shared.

Also, for the coordinator of the accounting area of URACCAN, master Obed Zeledón "This is an activity designed to show the tourist potential of Chontales and the Area of New Guinea", he stressed.

As part of the recreational activities in the exchange process, both groups made graphic presentations and potentials of each place that integrates Chontales and New Guinea, respectively.

The activity ended with the visit to the La Esperanza jumping river, where visitors noted the scenic and natural beauty of these places in the Southern Caribbean of Nicaragua.
