Risk management committee session

The URACCAN Bluefields Campus Risk Management Commission held its first session this year 2021, to discuss important aspects of the COVID-19 pandemic and the security protocol that this house of intercultural higher education has designed to protect its university community.

Strategies to comply with preventive measures

During the exchange, the members of the committee expressed concern to accompany the student with positive responses for their well-being and to continue to advance the teaching-learning processes with relevance.

In the same sense, it was proposed to involve students from each space, encouraging the use of masks, hand washing and each of the preventive measures established by the safety protocol, in accordance with the recommendations of the health authorities.

To have a better projection it has been decided to bring this message of awareness to the entire university community through each of the means and outreach spaces of URACCAN, assured from the exercise of intercultural communication, under the coordination and management of Dr. Alta Hooker.

Each of these actions guarantees the commitment of the authorities of this institution to the university community and the coastal population, since the creation of the security protocol, adapted to the context of the Indigenous, Afro-descendant and Mestizos peoples of the Caribbean Coast.
