⇒ On November 12, 2013, the Nicaraguan Council for Science and Technology of Nicaragua (CONICYT) gave to the University of the Autonomous Regions of the Nicaraguan Caribbean Coast (URACCAN), an acknowledgement to the scientific journal Science and InterculturalityRecognition for its efforts to raise the quality and application of the criteria of the Regional Online Information System, for scientific journals in Latin America , the Caribbean, Spain and Portugal (LATINDEX) and gain visibility into Nicaragua's scientific production in Latin American Journal OnLine (LAMJOL) and in 2016 the Caribbean University Journal receives similar recognition from the Nicaraguan Council of Science and Technology of Nicaragua (CONICYT).

⇒Requitant to scientific publication, according to analysis by the Universidad San Carlos de Guatemala (USAC), URACCAN ranks second in indexed journals at public universities in Nicaragua.
⇒Our scientific journal Science and Interculturality with an index (ICDS) of 4.0 (3 by indexing in DOAJ and 1 for 10 years old), only surpassed by 2 journals of Nicaragua, the above, according to analysis of scientific journals (MIAR) of the University of Barcelona. The ICDS is an indicator on a scale of 0 to 11, showing the visibility of the journal in different scientific databases of international scope, a high ICDS means that the journal is present in different sources of information of international relevance.
