Research
Collection of information related to the existing medicinal flora of which both the population and traditional doctors make use to treat the most common conditions that affect their health. 83 different species of medicinal plants were identified.
Uses by the community:
Bad Spirits, itchy skin problems, arthritis, cold, diarrhea, divisiveness, anemia, fungus, lehismaniasis, purawichka among others.
Findings show that the population has general knowledge about malaria mainly about the cause, transmission, signs and symptoms. With regard to Practices, there is very little they bring in terms of prevention to be a family level as a barrial. And attitude to disease denotes behaviors of indifference, nor do they take into account the perception of malaria risk.
As for Perception: They consider that MINSA is solely responsible for ensuring the decline of malaria, followed by the municipal mayor's office to keep the neighborhoods free of garbage and hatcheries. The community assumes no responsibility.
As a result of the end-of-year work by students, it contains the main prevention measures that have to be applied permanently for the reduction and control of malaria, the responsibility for the participation of society.
